Kyeong Ham

Kyeong Ham serves as 1st Solo Oboist of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. An award winner at major international competitions, including the ARD Competition in  Munich, he has established a strong international profile through his work as both an orchestral leader and chamber musician.

He was a member of the Herbert von Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic, mentored by Jonathan Kelly, and studied with Nicholas Daniel in Trossingen and Dominik Wollenweber at the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik Berlin, graduating with highest distinction. He is currently on the faculty of the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki.

Kyeong has held principal positions with the Konzerthaus Berlin and Hannover State Opera Orchestra, and has performed with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He appears frequently as guest principal with leading European orchestras. His debut album, TAWO (2020), was recorded with pianist Yeol Eum Son.
